1. About Playvo
Playvo is a digital platform operated in Pakistan that helps players discover, book, and manage sports and activity sessions with partner venues and managers. We are not the operator of the venues themselves. Each venue remains solely responsible for the quality, safety, and availability of its facilities and services.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make bookings.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
- You may sign in with email/password or SSO (e.g., Google/Facebook). You authorize us to receive basic profile info from the provider.
3. Bookings & Payments
- When you confirm a booking on Playvo, you are entering into an agreement directly with the venue or manager that controls the facility.
- Prices, available time slots, and any venue-specific rules are set by the venue or manager and may change from time to time.
- For now, Playvo may show the full amount due for a booking as communicated by the venue. Any commissions, fees, or revenue sharing arrangements between Playvo and venues are handled separately and do not change the amount you see at checkout.
- Your booking is considered confirmed once you complete the booking flow and receive a confirmation screen or email.
- Payment methods displayed (including mock/test flows) are for product experience; live payment channels (e.g., PayFast, wallets, cards) will be clearly indicated. Settlement is between you and the venue/manager; Playvo is not a bank and does not hold deposits unless explicitly stated.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Each venue or manager may maintain its own cancellation and refund policy (for example, cut-off times or non-refundable bookings).
- We will display key cancellation information in the product wherever possible, but the final decision on refunds for a booking rests with the venue or manager.
- If you believe there has been an error (for example, you were charged but a slot was not actually available), contact the venue first and also inform Playvo using the contact details below.
5. Player Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and respect the venue's staff, rules, and property.
- Use the facilities only for appropriate sports and activities, and follow safety guidance provided by the venue.
- Do not harass, abuse, or endanger other players, staff, or members of the public while using the services.
- You are responsible for any damage you cause to the venue's property, subject to local law and the venue's policies.
6. Venue & Manager Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about facilities, pricing, available sports and activities, and rules.
- Honour confirmed bookings and communicate clearly in case of operational issues, maintenance, or unexpected closures.
- Comply with all local laws, licenses, and safety requirements related to running a sports or activity facility.
- Use the Playvo manager tools and analytics responsibly, and keep any personal data of players confidential and secure.
7. Acceptable Use
- You may not misuse Playvo by attempting to hack, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the platform.
- You may not use the platform to send spam, harmful content, or unlawful communications.
- You may not create fake bookings, manipulate ratings, or otherwise distort the experience for other users or venues.
8. Changes to the Service
We may update features, add new sports and activities, or adjust how Playvo works over time. We aim to keep the experience consistent and transparent, but some changes may affect how you create or manage bookings. When we make important changes, we will update these terms and may notify you in the app or by email.
9. Limitation of Responsibility
Playvo provides the digital tools that connect players, venues, and managers. We do not supervise games, coaching, or on-site activities, and we do not control the condition of venues or equipment. Issues such as injuries, on-site incidents, or disputes between players and venues should primarily be resolved directly with the venue, although we may support with information where appropriate.
10. Third-Party Services
Playvo relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, notifications, and analytics (for example, Supabase, Google, and email services). Your use of those services may also be subject to their separate terms and privacy practices.
11. Payments & Settlement Channels
Playvo may surface payment options such as PayFast, JazzCash, Easypaisa, card payments, or bank transfer. Unless explicitly stated, payments are settled between you and the venue/manager. Playvo is not a bank or financial institution.
- Verify amount, venue, and slot before approving any payment.
- If you were charged but your booking is missing, contact the venue first, then Playvo support with evidence.
- Chargebacks/disputes via your bank or wallet may be governed by their rules in addition to these terms.
12. Disputes & Support
Most operational issues (e.g., facility readiness, staff conduct, overbooking) should be raised with the venue/manager on the day. If unresolved, escalate to Playvo at support@playvo.pk. We may coordinate with the venue and, where appropriate, take action on their account for repeated issues.
13. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playvo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amounts you paid (if any) for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; your rights may vary.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as we add features or adjust how Playvo operates. We will update the “Last updated” date and may notify you in the app or by email for material changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
